You know how it is, you’re wading through your inbox and attempting to get some work done whilst chugging back a cup of tea and yeah, go on then, you’ll just open up ASOS in a teeny, tiny tab and next thing you know you’re £20 down and a baby pink cardigan is on its way to you.
Oops, your bad.
I snapped up this bad boy for two reasons. Firstly, my friend Debs posted a similar one on her blog the other week and I was like hubba sweet hubba, maybe I do need a long pink cardigan in my life and secondly, I justified to myself that it would be a perfect cosy throw-on for our California road trip in June.
I ignored the other voice in my head that was like you have three long cardigans in your wardrobe but sure whatever, waste your money on another one.
BUT THIS ONE IS PINK.
And look it has a tie waist and it’s basically a dressing gown and it also kinda reminds me of a ballet cardigan and I never got to do ballet as a kid and all of these are very valid reasons to buy it.
Anyway, I wore it to London yesterday, teamed with a classic HG combo – black culottes, a little white top and my red shoes and bag that I wear all the ruddy time at the moment (and a beige trench coat because chilly, but it didn’t need to be involved in the photos…). I’m also v much into the whole clashing pink and red thing too, in case you’re reading this like heh hun, those colours don’t go.
And whilst this exact ASOS cardie seems to have already sold out since Monday’s accidental order, I’ve linked a few more below just in case also happen to have a voice in your head egging you on to do some online shopping (Boohoo have a particularly strong £20 and under collection).
Soz not soz.
