Good morning my little sugar plums, how’s it hangin’?
I have an itchy scalp (v glam words from me) and am trying not to fall face first into the box of leftover Christmas chocolate because y’know, I’d like my jeans to fit properly again some time soon.
Whilst perusing the internet for a new sassy 2017 wardrobe with my imaginary money, I realised that a large chunk of the dresses I’ve been wearing over the past few months have landed in the January sales.
So I thought I’d be a good little blogger and whip up a post to point you in the right direction, because look, they’re all under £30 and that basically means they’re free. Sort of. Not really.
Just a head’s up, some of them are only available in a handful of sizes, so try not to get too attached before you’ve clicked through, I don’t want to be held responsible for any broken hearts.
Happy shopping, sass pots.
THE GINGHAM SMOCK ONE
The most recent dress addition to my wardrobe, this ASOS hun is the perfect solution to disguising your post-Christmas bloat. It also looks cute with black tights which is a rarity and is mega comfy. Size-wise, I reckon you could go for your usual size or even one down because of the slightly oversized shape.
ASOS gingham smock dress, £26.50
THE FLORAL WRAP ONE
I’m all about a good wrap dress because hey look my boobs actually fit in, it’s a modern day miracle. I love the dark, flattering shape of this New Look one – there’s some sizes left on their website, and some other left on ASOS. You’re welcs.
New Look wrap dress, £24.99
THE LEOPARD PRINT ONE
Because what’s the point in a fashion post if I don’t sneak a bit of leopard print in somewhere? These are my fave ever blog photos (thanks Debs, you shiny star), and I love the olive colour and midi shape of this ASOS tea dress. Super comfy, super flattering ans super pretty.
ASOS leopard midi tea dress, £26.50
THE STRIPED ONE
This dress is getting me all excited for sunshine, golden skin and drinking cocktails outside. Ooh summer you flirt. It’s from La Redoute and was a firm favourite of mine last summer, already v excited to wear it again, ideally on some exotic holiday.
La Redoute striped frill dress, £24.50
THE DENIM SMOCK ONE
It’s no surprise that I’m a huge fan girl over smock dresses because hello you can eat all the stuff crust pizza your heart desires and there’s no digging in. Such a win, win situation. This denim one from ASOS is v comfy and goes with pretty much everything. There’s also this similar one.
ASOS denim smock dress, £24.50
THE PRINTED MIDI ONE
This La Redoute gem has a staggering sixty per cent off and is still available in every size. Huzzah. I haven’t been able to wear mine in a little while mostly because I got overly excited taking it off and popped up a button off and am still mustering up the energy to sew it back on. Hashtag being a grown up is broing sometimes.
La Redoute midi dress, £27.60
